3113.0. "Dead DEChub900MS question - can it be revived???" by BANNOR::SGIBSON (yer uncle baff....) Tue Jan 02 1996 08:48
Hi,
I used HUBloader to successfully load the latest versions of firmware
to 9 of 10 900MS's that I have on site here. Of course nothing seems
to work perfectly for me these days, so during the upgrade from v4.0.2
to v4.1.0 the hub died. It does not physically sit next to me, so I
couldn't see what part it died at but the hubloader window just timed
out.
When I physically checked the hub, the display shows the message
sending BOOTP Request
Of course, nothing sees any requests, or responds to it. I plugged a
terminal into the management port, but get no response from there, is
there anything I can do to get this back or do I need to get something
replaced.
