3089.1 | We even sell our own hardware !! | MSDOA::REED | John Reed @CBO = Network Services | Wed Dec 20 1995 18:32 | 9 |
| We sure do.
There are the Digital DFD series, (56K and T1 models), but I prefer to
resell the AT&T Paradyne series, through Network Services, because of
the larger group of possible options, and configuration choices.
Your local Network Services Sales person can help you...

3089.2 | Adtran, anyone? | CRONIC::LEMONS | And we thank you for your support. | Thu Dec 21 1995 09:24 | 18 |
| Thanks, John.
I need to buy a T1 CSU to terminate an ISDN PRI circuit. We have an
Adtran TSU for another application. I was thinking to (dare I say it)
standardize on one unit type. I didn't know whether the Adtran was a
great one, or should look at another. I'm looking for one that will
SNMP manageable, to tie into Netview or some other SNMP NMS.
I always hear good things about AT&T Paradyne. Are the Digital DFD
series good stuff? Are they are own design, or a buy out?
Has Data Communications or some other respected publication done a
review of these recently?
Thoughts?
Thanks!

3089.3 | Some AT&T's are SNMP managed | MSDOA::REED | John Reed @CBO = Network Services | Fri Dec 22 1995 23:44 | 8 |
| The DFD01, and DFD02, and DFD03 are buyouts from Dowty Corporation. In
fact, they say "dowty" on the front in some of our old DECdirect
catalogs.
I don't believe that any of them are SNMP manageable.
