2981.0. "Add 90TL problem in HUBwatch" by LEMAN::PAIVA (Hawkeye - Network Support @GEO) Thu Nov 16 1995 05:57
Hi!
I have the following HUBwatch (V4.0) a customer whose configuration is
HUB 90 based. He has one Agent 90 (FW 3.0.1) for his LAN and one Bridge
90FL (FW 3.9) per hub.
In a hub where he has 2 DECserver 90TL in slot 5 & 6 (1 to 4 are occupied
by other module types) he can do a "Add" to add the DECserver 90TL that
is in slot 5 and everything seems to work fine (ie. we can double-click
on the module and see the counters). However, when we try to add the
2nd 90TL that is in slot 6, HUBwatch hangs (I have a memory leak here
that doesn't let me remember if it hangs or if it looses access to the
90TL that is in slot 5).
We didn't try to do it by first adding the 90TL in slot 6 but I asked
the customer to try it to see what happens.
Known problem, any hints ?
Pedro

Sorry I have forgotten that: it's HUBwatch for Windows (PC).
