2948.0. "Hubwatch from Netview again" by CSC32::PITT () Thu Nov 02 1995 23:44
We are trying to upgrade to version 4.1 of Polycenter Netview and
Hubwatch on
a DEC 2000/300 (Alpha AXP150). There is a symbol name
(HUBWATCH_LIBRARY) that
needs to be pointed toward the path where Hubwatch is located
(/usr/kits/HUBwatch). We currently have the command to make this link
setup
in
/etc/profile. When we run Hubwatch from a DECterm window, everything
works
fine. However, if we fire off Hubwatch from either the Session
Manager, or
from inside Netview, the Hubwatch initialization errors out complaining
that
the HUBWATCH_LIBRARY does not exist. Where should we put this
definition to
make sure it will be passed on to all applications, no matter where
they are
started from.

| Inserting the setenv command into the .cshrc file should do it.
