2854.0. "No NDIS Activity Detected" by SWAM2::JACOMB_SC (I know enough to be dangerous!!) Thu Oct 12 1995 16:37
I have a customer that recently moved into a new building and purchased
DEChub 900's with a variety of DECrepeaters.
When they Cold boot their PC's in the morning, they get the message
"No NDIS Activity Detected" and the protocol stack doesn't come up.
They can cold boot several times before it finally comes up. If they Warm
boot after the cold boot, everything usally comes up right away. They have
a variety of NIC's (3Com, DEC and others).
Some of the repeaters have security enabled, others don't. The repeaters
installed are 900TM, 900TP, 90TS & 90T-16. The customer says that the
problem doesn't occur during the afternoon.
Any suggestions?

Check in the PATHWORKS PWDOSWINV5 notesfile. (I could not find the error
message in the PW V5 for DOS and Windows Client Messages manual.)
