| 2849.1 | HUBWATCH & Win95 | UTRTSC::GROOT_R | Ronald de Groot | Wed Oct 11 1995 11:15 | 6 |
|  |     Hello,

    I don't know for HUbwatch 4.1.1 but  HUbwatch 4.1.0 works o.k.
    with Windows95. Also HUBloader and the TFTP loader works fine.

| 2849.2 | HUBwatch & HP Openview with Win95? | SOUPER::COOPER | Ron Cooper | Thu Oct 12 1995 14:22 | 11 |
| | I have a customer whos is having trouble with HUBwatch under Win95 with
openview. Openview will do a topology map and find the hub's ip addresses but
will not associate hubwatch with them. If you launch Hubwatch, you can manager
a hub, but spawning telnet sessions for routeabout configurations is broken.
The customer is using the TCP/IP supplied with win95.
I got the HP Openview sales blurb from the HP fax back service and no mention is
made of Win95.
Any suggestions?

| 2849.3 | TELNET problem is HUBwatch bug | NETCAD::FORINO |  | Fri Oct 13 1995 11:46 | 8 |
| | Spawning telnet sessions for routeabouts has a bug unrelated to your
    platform. In the case of routers having an IP address associated with
    each port, HUBwatch only attempts to connect using the highest IP
    address of the bunch instead of trying them all until you get a
    successful connection with one.
    So this is a HUBwatch problem - not a platform problem

         HUBwatch also assumes the PW Telnet executable which is not there.
    A temporary workaround is to spawn telnet to the proper IP address
    using the telnet supplied with the WIN95 IP stack.

    installation.
