2845.0. "How does the DEChub ONE MX provide backup power?" by STRWRS::KOCH_P (It never hurts to ask...) Mon Oct 09 1995 13:00

I haven't seen alot on the backup power capabilities of the DEChub ONE
MX power supply. I see there is a power connector for interconnecting
the supplies, but how does this actually work?

    1. What is the part number for the power supply interconnection cable?

    2. In order to provide backup, can each power supply have a module
installed in it and provide backup for BOTH modules should a single
    power supply fail?

    3. OR does the backup supply need to be standalone to provide power
    backup?

    4. In regard to #4, can you have 2 power supplies interconnected with
    only ONE module installed?

Is there a document on-line describing how this works?

The kit containing the cable is refenred H9519-AA

if my memory serves me ,as far as understood in last NETwork Academy
yes, but the total power for 2 modules must be < or = to the full load
  of one Docking station.
