Hi
Just a sanity check: am I correct that HubWatch does not provide the
functionality to reload/reset a DEChub900, and that the OBM port must
be used to do this?

Before anything else:
Do you agree that the same functionality you have managing the
900 in-band is what you have for remote management via the out-of-band
port (the DB9 connector) using HubWatch in both cases?.
And also when you have to reset a DEChub900 you normally do it via
the Setup Port (the MJ8 or RJ45 connector, whatever you call it)?
The Setup Port also can be used to initiate a load of the firmware
image instead of HubLoader. You initiate the load via the OBM port
when the image gets corrupted via a BOOTP request made by
the 900 through that port.

Yep, I agree. It just hadn't occurred to me until tonight that I want
remote access to the Setup port functionality. Said another way,
walking to the next building to type in a reset command is not my idea
of fun. I wish HUBwatch had something that would allow this . . . .

Are you using Hubwatch v4.1 ? It has the function you need...
