2781.0. "DECswitch900EF FDDI port Broken" by UTRTSC::GROOT_R (Ronald de Groot) Wed Sep 20 1995 11:14

    Hello,
    
    Is there a known problem with the DECswitch900EF FDDI port connected
    to a Concentrator via port A on the front, becomes broken without 
    any reason? The status of the DECswich900EF when the problem occurs 
    (at 03:00 AM almost no FDDI network traffic?) was as follows;
    Led status FDDI port on front normal.
    Bridge Summary window, port yellow, fwding Enable green and State red.
    Bridge Port Information window Status: Broken
    FDDI summary windows  OperState: Disable
    With HUBwatch there was nothing to set on this module also a module
    reset from HUBwatch was not working!
    The only thing what works was to pull out the module and inserted
    it again. After that it works.

    The DECswitch900EF has the following revision HW=v1/2,RO=v0.4,SW=v1.5.0 
    MAM HW=F,RO=V1.1.6,SW=V4.0.2
