I'm supporting the Oracle show in Philadelphia and they are going to downgrade the hubs to V3.1 because they tell me they have had hubs lockup when using FDDI with current modules and the latest firmware. Is this a know problem in engineering?

Hi Ted, What does "lockup" mean, because no, its not a known problem. | |||||

I talked to ORACLE in S.F. and the lockup reffered to in this note is not an FDDI problem but a problem with repeaters crashing. See other notes that already exist in this conference. |
