With the new 90T-16 repeater modules there is a new grounding screw on the back which holds the module together and provides a threaded hole for the retaining screw on the MultiStack backplane. What is the part number for the grounding screw which would allow "legacy" 90 modules to adapt to the new MultiSack backplane? Thanks, Jim Bankowski

The Part Number for the threaded ground pin used with the Multistack Backplane is: 74-42117-02. Note that a spare ground pin comes with the DETRX/DETAX Multistack Backplane when ordered without a module just to accommodate legacy 90 modules. John | |||||

John, Thanks for the info. It will be especailly helpful when demoing the MultiStack and knowing that modules will not drop out when you hold it up in front of a crowd. I had the pleasure of that happening last month at Ingram Micro during a training session on the MultiStack. We were sent several MultiStacks with various 90 modules that did not have the new ground pin and those seemed to separate quite easily from the stack unit. Regards, Jim |
