2684.0. "Decserver 900tm crash code=0111" by CSC32::YOUNGWIRTH () Mon Aug 28 1995 11:19

    	I have a customer with several servers crashing with code 0111
   they are BL91-32 rom 5.0-0 and BL80-27 rom 5.1-0. Any ideas of the
    cause. NAS 1.4 is the software version. Is this a hardware or software
    failure? If software, what code is it in when it fails?

    					Thank You

Your best bet for DECserver questions is the TOOK::TERMINAL_SERVERS notesfile.

2684.2That's a new one. This must be Monday!TOOK::BKWALMon Aug 28 1995 13:334

    I don't believe 111 is a defined crash code. Can the value be verified
    with the crash displayer? This discussion would be best continued in
    the terminal server notesfile.
2684.3Too hot to handle?TOOK::BKWALMon Aug 28 1995 14:184

    Dug through the firmware and 111 is a valid crash code for an overtemp
    condition. This would indicate either the environment is very hot
    and/or the fan has failed.
