Hello,

I'm trying to download the new firmware running from a Vaxstation with VAX/VMS
V5.5-2 and UCX 3.2 eco 3

I copied the new kit DCF011 and I installed it using VMSINSTALL

Then I tryed to use it as suggested by the documentation...

typing 

$download ....

I get the following answer:


%DCL-W-IVVERB, unrecognized command verb - check validity and spelling
 \DOWNLOAD\


Do I have missed something?

I didn't seen any ..startup.. file

Please help me

"download" is a DCL verb.  It will be available to any new processes on
that system, but not to processes already active, because their DCL tables
are fixed.

Create a new DECterm and all will be well.

There is no NDU$STARTUP.COM file in the sys$startup and the command "DOWNLOAD"
is still not available even after a logout


The is no NDU$STARTUP.COM in the kit also...

It sounds like you need to install NDU.

    I missed to install the NDUPLUS010 (I discovered the name in note 2260)
