Hi, I have a tricky customer situation. The customer has HP Openview on Windows managing DecHub900. He is interested in monitoring MIB-II variables like ifInOctects and ifOutOctects for DEChub900. This seems to be possible only if I am able to add MIB-II to the OpenView Database. I tried gatekeeper location but those out there didn't solve my problem. Any location or pointers for these ? Thanks in advance,

I'm surprised Netview doesn't come with MIB-II preloaded. Did you try: gatekeeper.dec.com /pub/DEC/hub900/mibs/rfc1213.txt Other locations are anonymous ftp to: > RFCs can be obtained via FTP from DS.INTERNIC.NET, FTP.NISC.SRI.COM, > NIS.NSF.NET, NISC.JVNC.NET, VENERA.ISI.EDU, WUARCHIVE.WUSTL.EDU, > SRC.DOC.IC.AC.UK, FTP.CONCERT.NET, or FTP.SESQUI.NET. Through FTP, RFC's are stored as rfc/rfcnnnn.txt or rfc/rfcnnnn.ps where 'nnnn' is the RFC number. -Shawn |
