	Hello,
    
    	I have a customer which is experiencing lots of resets on his
	DECrepeater 900TM, 
    
    	but only when they are connected through the thin wire backplane port!

	I installed hubwatch and reconfigured his 3 repeaters so that they
	were each connected to a different backplane LAN, and they did not 
    	reset for more than one month, while when connected through thin wire,
    	they reset at least every 2days! Note that other hub modules
    	connected to the same thin wire backplane do not experience any
    	problem.

	HW V3.0
	SW V1.1.0

	I cannot access the IPMT database since days, so is this problem
    	already identified? is there any future patch foreseen?

    This can be done using console redirect method.

    Hi Snadeep,
    
    here is the output of the errorlog on all 3 repeaters, repeater 1 and 3
    were recently reconfigure from backplane LAN channel to backplane thin 
    wire and thus experienced resets recently.
    
repeater 1:	13 resets
		entry 1: reset count 12
			 fatal error line 329, file pcomerrlog.c
repeater 2:	24 resets
        	no more log entries
	
repeater 3:	61 resets
		entry 1: reset count 59
			 fatal error line 329, file pcomerrlog.c

    This exact bug is under BETA test. Since the test has started, we
    havent seen any crashes as of today. So if you want to know the exact
    release date for upgrade check with DELNI::HINES. He is the product
    manager

    for 3 weeks since upgrade to X2.0.2
