Is there a plan to port Hubwatch on OpenVMS/AXP. Most of the configurations we sell today on OpenVMS are Alpha and there are no VAXes. OPenVMS customers are really suprised that we do sell Hubwatch on Sun and HP and not on OpenVMS/AXP. Is any porting planned? Can't we have at least a vested version? Who should I contact for help? best regards. Soumetty.

Contact product management for this. Try Jack Forrest (NAC::FORREST) or Mike Bouchard (NAC::BOUCHARD).

Hi , This is Luis Frasson - Digital Brazil I'd like to be informed also about the availability of Hubwatch for OpenVms/AXP. I'm selling a Sable(VMS?AXP) and a HUB900 , and NO PC's to a customer. I'd like to be able to manage this HUB on Sable. Otherwise , as far as I can see , I would have to sell him a PC plus Pathworks just to use HubWatch . Is there any other alternative? Thanks for your help

HUBwatch for OpenVMS VAX sales are declining - less than 5% of last quarter's HUBwatch for Windows volume - is that because the demand for OpenVMS is declining, or because HUBwatch does not run on OpenVMS on the Alpha? Regarding .2, you do not have to sell Pathworks to enable HUBwatch to run; HUBwatch includes the necessary IP components from Pathworks. If at some later date, we drop the included IP stack from HUBwatch, there are still multiple ways to provide IP on the PC. |
