Is there a way to 'group' ports on the Portswitch 900 family
in a standalone configuration?
I have a customer who wants to 'group' the 10baseTs into 4 seperate
Ethernets (to be linked by a DECswitch 900EF Standalone).
I gave a portswitch 900FP it's own IP address but I could not find a
way to do port grouping when running hubwatch directly against the
module.
It comes down to packaging (8, 90TS vs 2, 900TP)
Thanks
Jim

Sure, this should work. Absolutely. You'll need to wire the groups to
the DECswitch via front-panel ports, yes?

Jim,
The Repeater Summary View Configuration Section Port Switching Icon
(lower middle icon) will let you group the ports.
