Will a DECbridge-90 reset its ethernet interfaces when confronted with massive CRC errors? We want to front a Vitalink bridge with a DECbridge-90 to isolate the Vitalink from the thousands of CRC's we get intermittantly about once a week. The CRC/FRAMING errors cause the Vitalink to reset its ethernet which causes a loss of LAT connectivity even when retransmit limit is set to 60. We only have 10 nodes on the other side of the Vitalink so a workgroup bridge should be ok. We will also need to use some bridges to isolate various floors during troubleshooting, we only have one AUI connection on each floor, so if the DB90 goes into flood mode will it still filter packets with CRC/FRAMING errors?
