2373.0. "PORTswitch 900TP power requirements" by DPDMAI::DAVIES (Mark, SCA Area Network Consultant) Mon Jun 12 1995 14:49

How much power does the PORTswitch 900TP require?

Is it the same as the DECrepeater 900TM?

    Thanks,

    Mark

I notice that the PORTswitch modules have values for 12V. The
table that I've previously used for power requirements on
modules listed 5V and 15V only. And I don't have anything
that says how much 12V an H7890 or H7894 provides.

    What have I missed?

For all the 900 modules, the 12V current is drawn from the 15V supply.
Generally, we only use a few dozen milliamps of 12V current... to
    program the Flash memories.
