	We have a DEChub 90 with a DEcrepeater 90FL connected to four remote
DECbridge 90FLs in 4 remote DEChub 90s.

	We used to get about 100 or so Framing errors on all the remote
DECbridge 90FLs everyday. The counts as seen by connecting to the DECbridge 90FL
using NCP where EXACTLY the same on all 4 DECbridge 90FLs Fibre ports.
The Framing errors in terms of the percentage of received frames is less than
0.1 percent, yet the customer wants this fixed because he has 10 other sites of
similar configurations with zero Framing Errors on the remote DECbrisge 90 FLs.

	We don't have Hubwatch to see the DECrepeater 90FLs ports' counters.

	We changed the DECrepeater 90FL as a logical approach to resolving the
problem. The spare DECrepeater 90FL was worse than the original. The percentage
of Framing errors on all the 4 DECbridge 90FLs now jumped to nearly 50% of the
received frames.

	The problem DEChub90 (that holds the problem DECrepeater 90FL) also has 
a DECbrouter 90 (DEWBR), whose Ethernet Port is clean - no errors. This makes us
believe the DEChub90 backplane and power supply should be good.

	Is there any issue with DECrepeater 90FLs or is it that we just got two
bad ones - one very bad compared to the other ?

	We have ordered another spare DECrepeater 90FL.

	The fibres have been TDRed and all look good.
