2265.0. "Modify TTRT of GIGAswitch using HUBwatch" by TKOV51::KATSUBE (Taiji Katsube) Wed May 10 1995 08:55
My customer has a GIGAswitch/FDDI, and he want to change the Target Token
Rotation Timer(TTRT) bigger. I think the MIB object is snmpFddiMACTReq.
Can it be changed through HUBwatch ? I tried, but I couldn't find the way.
I can check the current value in the 'FDDI MAC Summary' window.
In that window, I can see the Tneg, Treq, Tmax and TVX value. And that's all.
I can't modify it.
I checked up the object ID using Netview.
I found the value of .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.15.2.2.1.14.n.n . (n = 1,2,3...36)
When I modify those value using Netview, how can I map the GIGAswitch port
to the value of 'n'. How does the HUBwatch resolve this matter.
regards,
Katsube (NPB Japan)
