This very function will be in the next (soon to be available) release of the
DEChub 900 firmware.
FYI, due to resource limitations in the MAM we are still working out just how
many IP services modules you will be able to specify, but it will certainly be
more than one.

| Please clarify, I was JUST told last week the the DECrepeater90TS DOES
NOT CURRENTLY supply IP Services to a DEChub900. I was told it is NOT
in the current firmware, but next version will include it.
Which is correct? Does the DECrepeater90TS or 90FS support it TODAY as
it ships or is it REALLY the next version of firmware?

| Whoever gave you that information is just plain WRONG!
The DECrepeater 90FS running v1.1 firmware WILL function as an IP
services module for the DEChub 900.
The DECrepeater 90TS running v1.1.0 firmware WILL function as an IP
services module for the DEChub 900.
These are Wave 2 shipping versions of the firmware which went to the
SSB in early September 1994.
I just tested both of these devices by inserting them in a DEChub 900
running V3.1.0 firmware. I assigned the hub an IP address with the
appropriate slot number of each device (first the 90FS then the 90TS)
through the hub's setup port, and then brought up HUBwatch with the
hub's IP address. In both cases, HUBwatch came up just fine.

Roger,
I agree that is works, but my experience is that in a hub with a
lot of 900 modules, my 90TS could not deliver the information and I got
agent timeouts.
So, where should we go from here?
