Which cable(s) should I use to connect a PORTswitch 900TP (DETPJ-MA) to H3117-MA inserts in an H3108-PA patch panel? Should I use a BN26R cable used with the DECrepeater 900TM? Scott

After a short conference among NPC's here in Calgary, we have decided that you have the correct cable number for what you want to do. My *personal* opinion is that I wouldn't bother with the extra patching step. I would *much* rather just do patching from the front of the module to the panel for the office drops. IMO. The Portswitch 900TP has the same front-panel port wiring as the DECrepeater 900TM. |
