2210.0. "MAC on back vs on front" by ODIF11::LICATA () Mon Apr 24 1995 12:40
Could some one please tell me why the MAC address of the 900EF module
is printed on the back of the module?
When you ask a remote operator (non software type)
to get the mac address of the module, the following happens.
The operator must remove the module from the 900 hub which means
breaking all the LAN interconnects if powered on, or shutting the
hub down. If the module is in a hub-one, get out your screwdriver.
Your comments are welcome,
Jim
