Hello,
 I am Toru Hirai, sales rep. of NPB Japan.
 I would like to ask you if DETMI(DECrepeater90TS) can really available for 
cascade connection.
 I thought the answer was of course Yes, but there is an information from 
customer as follows;

 When customer try to add another DETMI to existing DETMI, whole network 
failed. So, when customer took new DETMI away, the network went well after 
20 min or so. They used cross cable for DETMI-DETMI connection, but it was 
not Digital product.
 
 If someone has an experience to cascade DETMI, could you tell me?

    I don't understand what the customer is trying to do, exactly. 
    However, here are a few legal configurations based on your drawing.

    Watch out for the additional repeater hop in the previous
    configuration.
    
    Here is a configuration which can cause the problem your customer is
    seeing, because it includes a repeater loop.
