    A customer has an FDDI ring formed by several DECswitch 900EF and would
    like to know the ring utilization -- eg % of load over a period.
    
    Any recommendation to get this in cheapest way?

	Under the first level HubWatch screen for the DECswitch 900EF, there is an FDDI option in the More Information box. If you click on that, you will get an FDDI speedometer indicator. This gives you more of an instantaneous reading and not a reading averaged over many hours but it does give you some inforamtion at a zero additional cost.
