What is the current status of Probewatch for OSF/1 as far as Part number, Price, SPD, etc. Is there a one-to-one relationship between the Probe and the software, or can multiple software clients talk to a single probe ? thanks, larry cole tech support, US Govt Sales Region [email protected]

Part Number = QL-217A9-AA QA-217AA-H8 Price: $4845 $150 SPD: 46.02 These part numbers should appear on the price file in the US in early April with a 60 day lead time. FRS is probably end of April, beginning of May. The SPD has not been written yet, but will probably read much like the Windows SPD in the public directory. I am fairly certain that multiple PROBEwatch stations can talk to a single probe. However, for administrative sanity, you might want only one of those stations to know the READ-WRITE Community string. A kit for evaluation is on the net; copy NAC::NIPG:[MANAGE.RMON]OSF_KIT.PTR for instructions.
2122.2 | Not in the german price file | FROCKY::WIESSNER | Ralf Wiessner, Solution Integration Center FRS | Wed Jun 28 1995 09:30 | 18 |
Hi, the german price file is missing the ProbeWatch-Software for OSF/1 (QL-217A9-AA). Are there any dates, when we can propose this to customers ? ProbeWatch for Windows is available in the price file. We are also missing the pricing for firmware upgrade of PacketProbes (QB-219AA-SB and QM-219AA-AA). Any hints, what to charge for the firmware upgrade service ? Thanks Ralf Wiessner

All of these part numbers should come up on the price file in the next few weeks. The software and firmware will be submitted to SSB in July. jack |
