Is it possible to "factory reset" a decbridge90? I have a bridge that has a number of protocol filters set, must I redefine them all individually or is there a sneaky undocumented blanket reset for all parameters. Cant find anything in the manual. Thanks in antcipation Paul Smith.

I don't believe there is such a thing from the DECbridge> prompt. I think you are stuck with resetting each protocol (DEFINE/SET PROTOCOL nnn NONE). Now when managing a DECbridge with a DECagent 90 through HUBwatch it's a piece of cake. The DECagent 90 can tell the bridge to reset to factory settings with an RBMS request. ...Roger...

Roger, thanks for the quick reply. Is the decagent required on a hub900 for the hubwatch management? Paul.

A DECagent 90 is required on the same Ethernet LAN as the DECbridge 90. It doesn't have to be in the same hub. |
