2051.0. "DB900MX shows half display on Hubwatch NMS" by GIDDAY::STANISLAUS () Sat Feb 25 1995 16:28

	Strange DB900MX problem with HUbwatch:
	--------------------------------------

Customer has two DB900MX. He has tried on at a time in different slots
of a DH900MX with the same symptom. Verion of DB900MX is 1.4. Version of MAM
is 3.1.1. Version of Hubwatch on VMS is 3.0 and version of Hubwatch on MS-DOS
is 3.1 - field test version.

The DB900MX has no problem forwarding data. Only the following
management problem.

There is no problem (for sending user data and for management) with the
several DR900TM modules he has in this hub.

Symptom with Hubwatch for VMS:
-------------------------------

The DB900MX display in the DH900 slot shows only half display. But
he can click on the DB900MX and go to configure the DB900MX as normal.

Symptom with Hubwatch for MS-DOS:
---------------------------------

The DB900MX display in the DH900 shows only half display. Now he can't
event click on the DB900MX. Nothing happens when he clicks. So he can't talk
to the DB900MX and hence he can't reconfigure.

I do not have the exact diagram on how the above management stations
are conneceted to the above DH900. He told me that he has tried making the
DB900MX as the IP services module or one of the DR900TM units as the IP services
module, but had the same result.
