2020.0. "BTU Outputs needed" by GRANPA::DFAUST (Bad Things, man...) Wed Feb 15 1995 16:08

    Are there BTU outputs for the DEChub series of products? I have a
    customer building about 10 closets in a high-rise and they need the
    heat output of the various devices. I checked the manuals and didn't
    seem to find the BTU outputs for:

    	DECswitch 900EF
    	DECrepeater 900FP
    	DECrepeater 900TM
    	DECserver 900TM

    Any help will be appreciated.

2020.1Straight forward conversion from tables......NETCAD::BATTERSBYThu Feb 16 1995 09:5813
    Well, using the conversion factor for converting watts to BTU/hr
    from my CRC Handbook of tables for Applied Engineering Science, I can
    calculate BTU output of the DECswitch 900EF of which familar with.

    The DESwitch 900EF puts out 67.5 total watts
    Conversion factor of watts to BTU/hr = 3.41443

    so..
    67.5w X 3.41443 (conv factor) = 230.474025 BTU/hr

    Hope this helps for the DECswitch 900EF

    Bob
