1992.0. "DECndu+ fails to update DECbridge 90 over wireless" by STRWRS::KOCH_P (It never hurts to ask...) Thu Feb 09 1995 23:13
I have a problem updating a DECbridge 90. I was able to get my
DECswitch 900EF to provide IP services and let me look at my DECbridge
90. In oding this, it did NOT display the version of firmware the
bridge is running.
When I try to use DECndu+ to update the module, it fails. I get:
I am using the command -> decndup /s 08-00-2b-37-60-b1
The first time I execute it, I get: device not found
Subsequent executions result in:
[CDI_BIND ERROR - DLL_OPEN failed - 000c]
I am able to use the following command and see the bridge with DECndu+
decndup /s /f chasdescr /m 1 198.100.1.9
and that tells me I have a DECbridge 90 COAX.
I am using a wireless antenna PCMCIA to do this work. I was
SUCCESSFULLY able to update the firmware in modules with this, so I
know that DECndu+ can load firmware using this, why can't it load the
bridge?
I am using the same DLLNDIS, NETBIND and SCH as I do for TCP/IP to
manager the hub using HUBwatch.
How can I solve this problem?
