A customer who uses HUbwatch extensively has the following questions: Q1: When will HUbwatch for OSF/1 and for Windows support Alarms? Q2: Will (and when) future release of HUbwatch allow DECswitch 900EF configuration be stored in file and the info retreivable after the module is swapped? Q3: In version 1 of HUBwatch, the software can graph selected counters, will this feature be back in a future release and when ? ..Richard

I can only speak for the short term on some of your questions. Q1: For V4.0 of HUBwatch there is no plan so support Alarms on Windows or OSF/1. That will be somewhere down the road but how far I can't say. Q2: We are currently working on a Backup and Restore utility that will not be ready with V4.0 but shortly after that - my guess on "shortly" would mean within a few months. That's about all I can say right now. Q3; I don't have any input on this one. John | |||||

But it is (RIGHT NOW) lrp planning time. If you have requests for new features or functions of HUBwatch or any of the DEChub components, NOW, RIGHT NOW, is the time to contact product management. Do it now, before you hit <next unseen>. Tom Hood HUBwatch |
