1920.0. "DEChub & modules: factory level testing done" by JAYJAY::KORNS () Mon Jan 23 1995 17:02
A systems integrator who is doing a large project using DEChub 900
FDDI and Ethernet modules has asked "what factory level test procedures
are done for each module?". They require this for a large customer
who has asked.
By this they are refering to whatever, if any, tests we perform
as part of the manufactoring process to determine if a unit is "OKay".
This could range from testing some number of a lot or individual
testing of a unit, i.e.; "the DECswitch900EF has power applied and
the worker looks for the following light pattern ...."
I understand the answer to this long and complex and am not so
much looking for an answer here as I am looking for a pointer to
people to discuss this with. This would seem to be a manufactoring
thing and I have no contacts in manfac.
