Hi, (Jack) I have a few quistions about PROBEwatch for Windows reporting. 1. Is it possible to make reports with PROBEwatch for Windows on the same way as Ultrix (OSF/1 ??) does? I read note 1826,1142 and the files logreprt.txt,crontab.txt and dvadmin.txt. 2. If this works like the unix versions will there be any documentation about this? 3. When it works is it possible to use the data from the .log files to put in e.g. Excel. (.log is ascii data?) or is it only possible to use PROBEwatch to make and print graphics en text reports? When it is possible I will set this up with the customer. The customer has already a PacketProbe90 and a seed version of PROBEwatch for Windows. Ronald de Groot

Jean-Yves,
Thanks for the reply, I have it working but had the same problem
as note 1826. The solution was note 1826.3 and .4 again thanks.
I have make the DVLOG.CFG file on a VAX fileservice and copied
him after editing to the PROBEW/USR dir. After that it works. I
have also used MSDOS (6.0) edit with the same result as note 1826!
I have now more quistion's as when I started with probewatch
reporting but for the moment I am happy.
Ronald

We may have to wait for the next version to get Comma Separated
Variable (CSV) support. This would make it easier to import into
spreadsheets and databases.
