DECrepeater-900TM in a DEChub-one, we have set up 3 of these and all management works, but on the fourth we didn't use the AUI port so it must be segmented, Does segmenting the AUI port in a DEChub-one prevent the MAC from responding to IN band TCPIP requests? Bill

why not put a AUI terminator there and check your self. why to wait for others reply. Basu | |||||

Whether or not the AUI is connected has no effect on the management of the repeater (unless, of course the NMS is on the net it was supposed to be connected to :-) |
