I think you can do what you want by changing the Long-Term History
Buckets and sample period. They are located under the properties
window of the domain view (pg 5-5 of manual).
You do have to deinstall the domain, change the properites and install
the domain for the changes to take effect.

1749.2 | What about longer time scales | STROP::LAYLAND | Iligitami nil Carborundum | Fri Dec 02 1994 12:55 | 6 |
| Thanks for the quick reply. What I would like to know is if the time scale,
not the polling period, could be lenghened, ie to a week/month etc.
I was told that this might be available in the next release ???

Your best bet would be to contact NAC::SEAVER for future
functionality since they won't discuss it in the notes files.

1749.4 | put data on disk for very long periods | NAC::FORREST | | Fri Dec 02 1994 20:58 | 12 |
| There are no changes in the long term history sample period length
or number of buckets on any upcoming probe firmware so far as I know.
If you need to look at data over a longer time period than what a probe
can store, you can use the log to disk function and background
reporting of PROBEwatch for Windows V3.1 or ULTRIX V1.1. Please do
not sell the ULTRIX kit to a customer without telling him that it
is at end of life (no upgrades); you can work a migration plan to
OSF, however.
Read NAC::NIPG:[MANAGE.RMON]LOGREPRT.TXT for more detail.
