Hi,
Wondering if anybody can give me some advice.
A customer has Two decbridge 900mx's are in one hub and
another decbridge900mx in another hub. All bridges are at 1.2.1.sw
A couple of days ago they noticed that the bridges had each crashed in
quick succession (each about 3 mins apart from each other) They knew
this by the system uptimes.
A day later they had singular bridge crashes. Now I know the latest
version of sw is 1.4 and I intend on upgrading them but can anybody
give me help as to whether this will fix their problem or not. They are
running mainly TCP/IP across the bridges. Below contains the error logs
from the bridges - sorry I know their a bit long winded:

| Do the upgrade as fast as possible, especially if the TCP packet
sizes are larger than Ethetnet's 1518. NFS usually tries to use the
larger packet sizes.

| Error Code=0000202C is the IP frag bug that is fixed in 1.4. The other
two error codes, 200C and 2020, are not fixed in 1.4. We've seen these
at two other customer sites but have been unable to reproduce as yet.
I'll sent you a pointer to a debug version of 1.4 that you should load
into all the bridges that are seeing this error.
And, please open an IPMT, aka CLD, against the DEFBA so we can track
this problem within engineering.

| Bill et al,
I'm seeing the DECbridge 900MX crashes with the 200C error code. Is
there a fix for this yet? In our case we are seeing corrupted
spanning tree frames as well as these errors on the bridges.
