A customer of mine has just purchased Probewatch for windows and has two problems, can anyone shed some light ? 1: When he tries to use the print option within the graph window it immediatly replies saying General Protection Fault. My customer has setup up lpt1 to be an encapsulated postscript file. 2: He wishes to produce graphs over longer periods than the standards. ie He wishes to produce a graph of network utilasation for the entire day, trouble is he cant change the T1 parameter on the graph scale.

I'm no Probewatch expert but 1. I have the same problem trying to display some graphs. 2. You need to change the long term history sample period in the domain view properties window. Scott | |||||

Number 1 is a problem with V1.0 of PROBEwatch. Should be OK in the current kit at NAC::NIPG:[MANAGE.RMON.WINDOWS.DISK1]*.* DISK2 DISK3 The suggestion to change the long term sample period may solve your customer's needs. In V3.1, you can bring the data back to disk, and generate tabular reports over any time period for which you have data logged. You will also be able to export in delimited ASCII to something like Excel. |
