    Is there any plans for a fiber based switch, thats to say something
    like the DECswitch 900 EF in a package like the DECrepeater 900 FP.
    
    I probably can simulate this by using Fiber optic transcievers. If  I
    use the DECrepeater 900 FP with the DECswitch 900 that means I have to
    burn up backplane channels plus I have repeater distance rules to worry
    about and I can't have more than 6 ethernets feeding in to the FDDI.
    
    Maybe I am missing something.
