Can someone quickly clarify the procedure for upgrading DECbridge 90's
to firmware V3.1 from earlier versions ?
I have seen pointers to instructions elsewhere in the conference, but
the info is either no longer available or (seems) incomplete.
I know from a VMS host I can enter a temporary node name into NCP with
the h/w address of the DEGWB and specifying a load file of FLASH.EXE
(3.1 firmware upgrade file as obtained via EASYNET). I can then force
a LOAD of the DEGWB from NCP via the "LOAD NODE" command.
What I am unsure of is what action should follows the load ???
Do I need to do anything after this (power off/on the DECbridge, for
example ?)
I just can't seem to find this procedure properly documented.
Any help much appreciated !

Graham,
A good place to start is with note 1368. This note contains a pointer
to the DEChub Consolidated Firmware Kit which contains the DECbridge 90
V3.1 firmware. There is a file called HOW2LOAD.TXT which describes how
you can load a DECbridge 90 using DECndu Plus. I can try to dig up the
procedure to use NCP to trigger a load from a VMS load host if you need
it.
