Hello, I have a customer who is having a problem accessing some of his DECbridge 90s via MOP and DECndu+. He indicates that he can successfully connect to all the bridges via NCP on this VAX, however he states that he can only talk to two of these bridges via a DOWNLOAD SHOW DEVICE 08-00-2B-xx-xx-xx. The rest of his bridges return an error during read target? The customer has installed DECndu+ on a VAX running TGV Multinet as opposed to UCX. However he is not trying to use TFTP, he wants to use DECndu+ with MOP. Any ideas why he can successfully connect via NCP to all his DECbridge 90s and yet he can only communicate with two of these same bridges with NDU? Thanks in advance, Dominick

Make sure the following two lines (exactly as shown) are at the top of your SYS$SYSTEM:NDU$DEVICE.DAT file: DECbridge90 DEWGB 0f 90 nn DECbridge90_FL DEWGF 10 90 nn FYI, the DOWNLOAD SHOW DEVICE command uses RBMS to query the bridges and not MOP, so make sure that RBMS (PID 80-38) is not being filtered by anything in the network. ...Roger... | |||||
