A question regarding Enterprise and Entity Management... I have a customer running Polycenter Netview under OSF1 as an Enterprise Manager with Hubwatch running under Windows on a PC as an entity (hub) manager. Can/should we run PNV and HW under the same Management Station, or keep them separate?

> Can/should we run PNV and HW under the same Management Station, or keep > them separate? Can? Yes. Should? Up to the customer... There's not really any reason not to have them both together. When the final version of HUBwatch for DEC OSF/1 is available, it will be launchable from NetView. It sounds more convenient to have both tools in one place. On the other hand, the OSF/1 and OpenVMS versions of HUBwatch are more expensive than the standalone version of HUBwatch for Windows. Tom Hood HUBwatch |
