I upgraded a DH900 Multiswitch using DECnduplus on a PC. The upgrade was from FW 2.2.1 to 3.1. After the upgrade I found the IP address of the DH900 Multiswitch is lost. So Hubwatch was unable to talk to that HUB till I set the Inband IP address again. I expect the upgrade to retain the IP address. I had no LAN interconnection when I did the upgrade. If I had LAN interconnections would all that be lost too after the upgrade. If the answer is YES that would be a big problem. Alphonse

"When you update your Hub Manager to version V3.1 from version V3.0, all nonvolatile data stored in the Hub Manager is retained. When you update your DEChub 900 to version V3.1 from a version prior to V3.0, all nonvolatile data stored in the Hub Manager is cleared." ...Roger... |
