How are plans to come out with a heftier power supply for the MS900
coming along?
With the DS900EF it is quite easy to need more than 3 x H7890's, hence
no n+1 redundancy.
Will the hub actually power up all modules, if the power capabilities
of 3 supplies are exceeded, but less than 4?
Thanks

No.
Even with the new power supplies, this will still be true; the
limitation is the AC input line filter, which is part of the hub
backplane.

Thanks -.1
but I don't quite understand!
IF a higher power supply comes into existance, we won't be able to use
it because, as you say, the total current into the hub is still limited
by the AC line filter? If that is so, I don't see why we would bother
with a higher power supply in the first place!
Got me confused!
