Hi, With V2.1 of Decpacketprobe90 , you can use SLIP and Serial connection to works With Probewatch. In this case which port is used for SLIP connection and Which port is Used to Monitor the Network thanks for any comments Jean-Yves

Jean-Yves, my understanding is that the DECpacketprobe will only monitor on the Ethernet port. However, either the Ethernet, or the serial port can be used to control the probe and retrieve the SNMP data. From the console, you can set up the serial port for SLIP. |
