This question might be related to note 1571.0 I'm using Hubwatch for Windows v3.1 to manage several DH900's. I can get to the 'local' dh900 (ie: the one in the same subnet), however, I can't see the other two hubs which are in a different subnet. I have put in the IP gateway node address in the DH900 module that's providing the IP services. The only way I have found to access the other two DH900's is to re-config the IP address of the Hubwatch PC so to be in the same net as the other two Dh900's, (ie: all in 198.40.59.xxx, as opposed to 16.65.129.xxx) BTW---the devices are all on the same 'wire', but separated by a few bridges here and there. any ideas welcome thanks BP

1572.1 | Well, it *should* work. | SLINK::HOOD | I'd rather be at the Penobscot | Fri Oct 14 1994 11:02 | 10 |
It sounds like either your gateways are not properly configured or the SNMP traffic is being filtered by the bridges. From my humble Littleton office, I've managed hubs all over the world. As a first step, try to ping the hubs in the other subnet. Do other functions like TELNET work? Tom Hood HUBwatch | |||||
