    Hi,
    
    Could someone please provide me with information regarding DECNIS
    (particularly DECnis 600) management availability.
    
    We have a customer who would like to know when and if DECNIS management
    is going to be made available using Hubwatch for OSF/1, with Windows as
    a fallback option.
    
    My understanding is also that SNMP on the DECNIS is very limited due to
    the OSI flavour of the product in terms of config. and management.
    
    If timings are available (indicative will suffice) that's be great.

	There is currently no plan to support the DECnis through HUBwatch. As you stated the DECnis is primarily OSI CMIP manageable with limited support for SNMP MIB II. John

	John, Don't get the rumors out, it is not OSI CMIP, it is DEC CMIP. Also, it supports SNMP MIB-II where the enitities are relevant to the DECnis. Brad
