I upgraded my DC900MX from v1.0 to v2.0 using DECndu for Dos without
any problem throug a HUBManager assisted upgrade:
DOS> decndup /u /f hubmodule /m 3 16.183.0.125 C:\firmware\def6x200.bin
When I try the same to upgrade to V2.8 it doesn't work:
DOS> decndup /u /f hubmodule /m 3 16.183.0.125 c:\firmware\def6x280.bin
[HUBMODULE] Getting Device chassis module info (ChasSlotModuleDescr)
DECconcen 900MX, 6 Port FDDI Concentrator, HW=v1,RO=v1.1,SW=v2.0.0
[HUBMODULE] Setting (ChasLoadEntryStatus) to createRequest (2)
DECnduPlus: No response from device.
When I do a get chasdescr it works without any problem:
dos>decndup /s /f chasdescr /m 3 16.183.0.125
Is their a change in the procedure that i missed somewhere.

No, there is no change to the procedure. This should have worked. Maybe one of the concentrator folks can comment on the hardware and ROM versions you have? I'm reaching here since I have not had any problems upgrading concentrators using MAM-assisted load. ...Roger... | |||||

Hi Peter. I know of no reason for this not to work. Can you tell me
if the concentrator crashed? If it did crash, look at the error log and
tell me the last entry. Is this repeatable? Have you tried to upgrade
other concentrators using this procedure?
