1487.0. "3.1 Hubwatch doesn't recognise decbridge90MX" by GIDDAY::MORETTI (Not drowning...waving) Tue Sep 27 1994 22:01

    I have loaded V3.1 of Hubwatch for windows at a customers site which is
    running Novell and when we bring the DECHUB900 up we get a "?" for the
    DECbridge90MX.

    Does this mean we don't have the support built into the Hubwatch
    product yet or is there something wrong with my version of s/w ??

    John,

    	What is the version of HUBwatch for Windows that you have (ie
        X3.1.?)? There is support for the DECbridge 900MX. Also, I'm
        sure that you checked this, but just in case... Be sure that
        you select the correct HUBwatch icon via Program Manager. If
        you installed V3.1 and still have the older version installed,
        you may have accidentally run the older version. A stretch, but
        hopefully its something simple.

        Also, please check the versions of MAM and DECbridge 900MX firmware for
        inclusion here.

    Regards,
    Bob
1487.2Getting the info......GIDDAY::MORETTINot drowning...wavingThu Sep 29 1994 00:5813

    Bob,

    Thanks for the input, I'll recheck all that info and report that
    tomorrow.

    Thanks

    PS , I did delete the icon and older s/w before I started but you never
    know if you might have slipped up.

    Thanks for the help, I found my screw-up....my eyes are getting blurry
    in my old age.

    After I re-installed the X3.1.1 software I got the decbridge900mx to be
    recognised and managed. It was on a Novell network which muddied the
    waters a bit and we had to hack the net_cnfg file to get it all to
    work.
