My distributor just reported me an error one of his end-users encountered installing Hubwatch V2.0 for Windows. The distributor successfully reproduced the error. I've installed myself multiple times V2.0 of Hubwatch and I never ran into this problem. Both the end-user and the distributor run with a COMPAQ pc and a 3com Etherlink III NIC (but I don't believe this has something to do with it). During the instalation procedure the installer asks clearance to change AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS. After the "Go ahead and modify" the error windows pops-up with following message: FATAL ERROR AT SCRIPT LINE 664. Who can clarify this for me ? P.

Please supply all information that the customer entered and at the exact point that the SCRIPT message appeared. Was it after the Modify the AUTOEXEC.BAT, the CONFIG.SYS, or the WIN.INI? or modify the network parameters? Is the customer running with the HUBwacth IP stack? Line 664 is a display command for a text line on a dialog box. Not likely the problem. Barb | |||||
